Abstract: Some publications from the last decade mention the presence in Malta of three terrestrial snail species, namely Helix melanostoma Draparnaud, 1801, Paralaoma servilis (Shuttleworth, 1852), and Vallonia costata (Müller, 1774). However, no supporting evidence for any of these records exists, and therefore they must be excluded from the list of Maltese terrestrial malacofauna.
