| Abstract: | The exhibition 'Touch Me' by Maria Borg at the Malta Society of Arts was marked by its abundant textures and tactile characteristics, inviting guests to take a moment to immerse themselves in the complex layers of fabric showcased. Lara Zammit engages with the artist to investigate the exhibition's numerous dimensions and points of engagement. In her discussion of the objects within her artwork, which appear to be frozen in time, Borg conveyed that painting is particularly skilled at decelerating time, though it does not entirely arrest it, capturing a moment in a way that resembles photographic representation. |
