| Abstract: | Contemporary Inside /18 aims to initiate ongoing conversations within an educational setting about the role and function of contemporary art. Coinciding with the European Capital of Culture, this ambitious project seeks to expose the work of contemporary artists to a wider audience and through a series of thematic workshops and talks it aims to create a platform whereby artists and audience may interact. The project will also expose students to the processes involved in the setting up of art exhibitions and to curatorial practices. |
