Abstract: Manoel Theatre and Mid-Med Bank Ltd. present the programme for an instrumental and vocal concert, conducted by Helen De Gabriele, led by Stephen Zammit, and performed by the Young People's Orchestra. The concert starred singers Phyllis Bajada Abram and Rosabelle Pavia, pianists Stephanie Lauri, John Galea and Maria Frendo, and clarinettist Mario Felice. The concert featured the musical works of Carmelo Pace, Gounod, Chopin, Donizetti, Rossini, Puccini, Liszt, Schubert, Vivaldi, and Offenbach. The performance was held on the 2nd of June, 1984, at the Manoel theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes essay on the concert event by Mid-Med Bank representative Kenneth Zammit Tabone, list of featured music including composers and featured performers where applicable including some signatures, notes with photos and signatures on singer Phyllis Bajada Abram, clarinettist Mario Felice, pianists Stephanie Lauri and John Galea and singer Rosabelle Pavia, and note with photo on the Young People's Orchestra including its conductor Helen De Gabriele's signature.
