Abstract: Manoel Theatre, Kumitat Festi Nazzjonali, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture present the programme for the performative event "Man-Nanna Fil-Manoel", held in celebration of Malta's Freedom Day (Jum il-Ħelsien). The event, which was directed by Josette Ciappara, featured a theatrical performance of the play "Il-Bini tat-Tejatru", as well as several Maltese poetry and prose readings, musical performances, and dance performances. The dance performances included folk dance by the members of "Żepp u Grezz", and ballet dance from the students of Mary Jane Bellia. The event also featured acrobatics performed by the Acrobelles. The event was held on the 28th of March, 1984, at the Manoel theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes message from Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Culture Alex Sceberras with his photo, poem titled "Lil Malta F'Jum il-Helsien", list of featured performance items with some performers' signatures, list of cast for the play "Il-Bini tat-Tejatru" with some signatures, list of other featured performers including musicians, dancers, acrobats and readers with some signatures, list of crew with few signatures, note with painting picture on Manoel theatre's founder Grand Master Antonio Manoel De Vilhena, note on the Manoel Theatre Foyer, and list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee.
