Abstract: | Manoel Theatre, Kumitat Festi Nazzjonali, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture present the programme for the performative event "Man-Nanna Fil-Manoel", held in celebration of Malta's Freedom Day (Jum il-Ħelsien). The event, which was directed by Josette Ciappara, featured a theatrical performance of the play "Il-Bini tat-Tejatru", as well as several Maltese poetry and prose readings, musical performances, and dance performances. The dance performances included folk dance by the members of "Żepp u Grezz", and ballet dance from the students of Mary Jane Bellia. The event also featured acrobatics performed by the Acrobelles. The event was held on the 28th of March, 1984, at the Manoel theatre, in Valletta. |
