Abstract: This study presents the progress of the SIPOBED project, focusing on the monitoring and modeling of beach dynamics in Malta. Remote sensing techniques using satellite imagery and geophysics are employed in the analysis of Maltese pocket beaches. Multispectral-derived bathymetry has proven effective in shallow waters, while HVSR and ERT are used to characterize bedrock and sedimentary geometry. The integration of these data lays the foundation for developing a predictive model of coastal dynamics, crucial for sustainable management of these unique beaches.
