Abstract: Att the Valletta Campus, the Irish Embassy showcased an exhibition from 30 October to 3 November. Ireland’s EU50 exhibition is marking key milestones towards our membership and into our first year of membership including fifty years since Ireland voted by referendum to join the EEC in 1972.
On November 6, 2023, the Irish Ambassador, Caroline S Whelan, launched the Ireland’s EU50 exhibition at the University Library. The ambassador referred to the key milestones of Ireland’s membership. H.E. Caroline S Whelan made reference to the relationship between Malta and Ireland and how the EU was important for both countries given the opportunities linked to membership, including the Erasmus exchange program.
