| Abstract: | The study considers Malta's compliance with EU equality acquis, namely, Directives 2000/43/EC, 2004/113/EC and 2006/54EC. The study provides an analysis of the two main equality bodies, the National Commission Persons with Disability and the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality for Men and Women as set up in terms of national law. |
