| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre, Kumitat Festi Nazzjonali, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Culture and Youth present the programme for an event celebrating Malta's Freedom Day ("Jum il-Ħelsien"), titled "Mit-Tfal għat-Tfal". The event was produced and directed by Horace Muscat, and presented by comperes Romina Bonello and Vince Debono. The event featured several musical performances, including some from the student of the Johan Strauss School of music, and some dance and ballet performances given by Folk Group "Żepp u Grezz", youth dancers from "Għaqda Banda Żejtun", and "Alison White Studio". The event also featured a theatrical performance of the 1-act comedy "Torta tal-Piżelli u Oħra tat-Tuffiegħ", written by Tony Cassar Darien, and performed by the students of the Manoel Theatre Academy of Dramatic Arts (M.T.A.D.A.). The event was held on the 26th and the 27th of March, 1987, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. |
