| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Department of Education present the programme for a set of performances featured in "Il-Festival tad-Drama 1988", performed by students from several Maltese primary and secondary schools. The plays featured were the following: "Marzju u Ventu f'Malta" (written by Anne Bailey, and directed by T. Galea), "Is-Sejħa" (written by Trevor Zahra, and directed by Oliver Pace), "The King Who Limped" (written by Monica Thorne, and produced by M. Vella, R. Grixti, and A. West), "Dak Li Ma Riedx Jidħol il-Ġenna" (written by G.F. Sladden, and translated into Maltese and directed by Manuel D. Schembri), and "Il-Prinċep Wiċċ id-Dawl" (written by Oscar Wilde, and adapted, translated into Maltese, and directed by Carmel Azzopardi). The performances were held on the 26th and the 27th of May, 1988, at Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
