| Abstract: | Associazione Mattia Battistini presents a book with all the information for their "9ᵃ stagione lirica 1988-89" (9th Opera season 1988-1989), produced by Impresa Raffaele Guerra, and directed by Franca Valeri, with a programme of operas was curated by Giuliana Poggiani. The operas were displayed in several countries, including Italy (in Rome and in Rieti), Jordan (in the Jerash Festival), Iraq (in the Babylon Arts Festival), and Malta (at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta). The operas featured were the following, "Simon Boccanegra", "Madama Butterfly", "L'Elisir D'Amore", "Il Barbiere Di Siviglia", and "Rigoletto". "Rigoletto" was the opera which was performed in the Manoel Theatre, on the 23rd, the 24th and the 25th of November, 1988. |
