| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Malta-U.S.S.R. Friendship & Cultural Society present the programme for a performance of classical and modern ballet by the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko State Theatre. The performance featured dances to the musical works of Tchaikovsky and Bach. The performance was held in aid of the Community Chest Fund, on the 9th of June, 1990, at Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
| Description: | Two copies of programme included, one with ballet dancers' signatures and the other without. Both programmes include note on the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko State Theatre, list of performance items including featured composers, list of featured ballet dancers with short descriptions, list of crew, and list of acknowledgements from the Manoel Theatre Management Committee. Programme without signatures also includes separate paper with note on changes to the programme. Programme is given no. 1274 in archival records. Retrieved from the Manoel theatre records. |
