| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for the 4-act opera "Le Nozze di Figaro", written by Lorenzo da Ponte, with music composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and directed by James Ross. The performance featured musical performances from the Manoel Theatre Orchestra (conducted by Colman Pearce, and led by George Spiteri), and the Għaqda Kantanti Liriċi Maltin (as chorus members). The performance was held on the 19th and the 20th of November, 1991, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
| Description: | Two copies of programme included, one with performers'/crews' signatures, and the other one without. Both programmes include synopsis of each act in "Le Nozze di Figaro", list of cast, lists of chorus members and children, list of backstage crew, list of acknowledgements, notes with photos on cast members Karl Morgan Daymond, Virginia Kerr, Josip Lesaja, Deborah Rees, Carol Rowlands, Kevin West, Aurio Tomicich, Marie Thérèse Vassallo, Samuel Bezzina, Noel Galea and Karen Camilleri, notes with photos on conductor Colman Pearce and director James Ross, and essay on Mozart's Finest Hour.
