Abstract: A simple planar antenna for UWB applications is proposed in this paper. UWB technology for communications and medical applications is intended to operate between the 3.1 GHz and 10.6 GHz frequency band, and at very low energy levels in order to avoid interference with other frequency bands currently in operation according to various other standards. Measured and simulated results of the constructed antenna are presented.
