The chapter evaluates common themes emerging that continue to emphasize some of those earlier reported issues for coastal tourism and climate change. In this respect there still remains continuing uncertainty regarding climate change and the validity of current predictions. The fundamental question of whether coastal tourism destinations will have viable sustainable futures is a critical one, still facing many destinations today. It is clearly not an easy question to answer but the evidence from, not only the case studies reviewed but general literature shows that there are a number of indicators and lessons from which we can draw some conclusions and assumptions. Critical themes emerging from the cases discussed, confirm that there are a number of growing complex relationships that have evolved between different stakeholder interests which will ultimately determine the future sustainability of many coastal tourism destinations. These can broadly defined in terms of ‘Recognizing Problems’, ‘Managing Solutions’ and ‘Future Expectations’.en_GB
