Editorial foreword : the Mediterranean, education and the millenium

Abstract

This inaugural editorial introduces the Mediterranean Journal of Educational Studies and highlights the diversity of what the Mediterranean actually is. Geographically this area has ties with different cultures, each with its own identity. Additionally, each region has its own methods of education, together with its pros and cons.
