Abstract: Distance-learning (DL) graduate programs have become common at universities worldwide, yet few such programs exist for medical physics. It has been suggested that, at least for the didactic curriculum, it is appropriate to deliver medical physics programs completely online. This is the premise debated in this month’s Point/Counterpoint.
