Abstract: The main aim of our dissertation is to integrate the understanding of concepts in physics with the understanding of the workings of the human body. A resource pack was created in such a way that students can be made aware that there are interconnections between the different science disciplines despite the fact that they are currently studied separately. The resource pack was developed as an interactive multimedia simulation in order to adapt to the technological changes that the post modern world has brought about. The activities present in the resource pack illustrate some of the physics laws operating within the human body. The pack was critically evaluated with the help of six secondary teachers and six students who pointed out its strengths and weaknesses. From the evaluation it was evident that both students and teachers were willing to make use of such resource packs. A clear indication from the evaluation was that such resources are quite welcome in schools and that teachers would like to see more resource packs of this type in the near future.
