This study is about youth work exploitation in terms of precarious work. The researcher tackles various aspects worldwide on the different types of work exploitation. However, this study will focus on the unfair/maltreatment whether financial or psychological which youths aged between 16 and 30 may have or still encounter in a part-time/full-time job when working in Malta. The main focus is whether this phenomena exists in Malta and what is being done to deal with the current situation. This study also seeks to address the trauma in terms of ‘career and morale’ these youths are faced with. The research methods used are both qualitative and quantitative whereby the researcher chose to interview professionals and survey a small quantity of the public. This research study was chosen after a number of the researcher’s friends approached her.en_GB
