Editor's letter [Medi-Scope : issue 4 editorial]

Abstract

This quarter's issue, the Christmas number, has as its principle interest the handicapped people to which the proceeds will go. As I have stated in the last issue's letter, the Editorial Board encourages readers to spare a few extra cents each so that the total amount collected will be given to the residents at Id-dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi as a Christmas Donation from Medical Students, Doctors" and Staff of the Medical School. Medi- Scope will thus serve an additional purpose during its existence. In this context, I cannot but praise Miss Josephine Cuomo for her invaluable work with and total dedication towards this sector of our society. Her noble gestures and vast experience motivated me to ask for articles (concerning the handicaps) which she gladly supplied. I thank her, on behalf of us all, for her help in this regard. I am certain that her tips will be valuable and her advice followed.
