Authors: | Cassar, Lara |
Keywords: | Commercial law -- Malta Contracts -- Malta Civil law -- Malta |
Issue Date: | 2014 |
Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the main commercial obligations; particularly on the legal institutes of Offer and Acceptance, the Tacit Resolutive Condition, Interest and Joint and Several Obligations. This exercise was pursued in order to analyse a possible way forward in the field of commercial obligations. The issue of commercialisation had a large role to play in reaching the final conclusions. It was finally established that the way forward would be to extract the law dealing with commercial obligations in the Commercial Code and transpose it into the Civil Code. |
