Abstract: This article outlines the role of international organizations in integrating human rights in the conflict cycle. It discusses the actions taken by international organizations at the various stages of national and international conflicts and the lessons learned from the experience of international organizations in this area. The focus will be on the United Nations (UN) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
