Abstract: | On the 25th November 1963, two votes were taken at the Vatican Council on the two parts of the schema on the Means of Social Communication. There were 331 votes against the first part, and as many as 502 (i.e. about a fourth of the Fathers present) against the second part. This is a large enough number to justify our asking why. |
