Abstract: | Pervasive computing has several drawbacks, mainly the lack of infrastructure on which ubiquitous applications should be deployed on. [I} Expensive hardware is required to deploy the resources that are required for pervasive computing. These significant drawbacks gave way to the area of wearable computing. In this paper we briefly describe our recent work in the area of wearable computing, were we deploy some major principles of pervasive computing to achieve a generic e-commerce framework that can be used by any wearable device. |
