dc.description.abstractL-għan ta’ din ir-riċerka kien li jintuża metodu ta’ tagħlim li jlaqqa’ l-qasam tal-grammatika mal-ħila tal-kitba sabiex nistħarreġ kemm dan jgħin lill-istudenti jaraw iżjed utilità fit-tagħlim tal-grammatika tal-ilsien nattiv. L-istudju sar permezz ta’ Azzjoni waqt ir-Riċerka ma’ klassi tat-tielet sena sekondarja li kienet qed titħejja għall-eżami tat-tielet rotta, l-aktar livell akkademiku għoli. Ippreparajt materjal pedagoġiku flimkien ma’ pjanijiet tal-lezzjonijiet li għenuni nfiehem it-topik tal-forom tal-verbi u t-topik tal-frażijiet prepożizzjonali f’kuntest ta’ kitba. Dan sar sabiex l-istudenti jkunu kapaċi jħaddmu l-grammatika f’kitba ta’ ġeneru partikolari. Il-ġbir tad-data sar permezz ta’ djarju ta’ riflessjoni, tmintax -il intervista u lkitbiet tal-istudenti. Id-djarju ta’ riflessjoni kien utli sabiex inżomm rekord ta’ x’sar f’kull lezzjoni filwaqt li niżviluppa lenti kritika. L-intervisti saru ma’ sitt studenti li ġew intervistati tliet darbiet, fil-bidu, fin-nofs u fl-aħħar tar-riċerka, u ġew irrekordjati sabiex inkun nista’ nirreferi għad-diskors preċiż. Il-kitbiet li ġbart ippermettewli li nanalizza kemm u kif tħaddem kull topik grammatikali f’kuntest ta’ kitba. L-analiżi tad-data saret fl-isfond tat-teorija soċjokulturali u nħareġ biċ-ċar li l-medjazzjoni soċjali, il-medjazzjoni mill-individwu u lmedjazzjoni permezz tal-artefatti kienu utli fl-istudju. Minbarra dawn it-tlieta, l-istudju wera li l-medjazzjoni lingwistika kienet intrinsika sabiex jiġi żviluppat lgħarfien il-ġdid tal-istudenti.en_GB
