Academia has argued that the right to human rights education is a right in itself as it precedes all other rights, for without it, individuals may not know what other rights they enjoy. Throughout this multi-disciplinary dissertation, human rights education is understood for its pedagogical strengths. Legalistic provisions related to such education are then discussed. Finally, it discusses the realities of such education in Malta, both as present within curriculum and syllabi as well as through results of a survey carried out for the purpose of this dissertation.en_GB
