| Abstract: | This article refers to the life of Father Emmanuel Magri, known as Manwel Magri, born in 1851 and died in 1907. Apart from being a writer, Magri was a Maltese ethnographer and archaeologist. Magri also gave a significant contribution as a scholar through his collection of Maltese folktales and folklore. |
