Abstract: | After publicly attacking Mussolini and the Fascist regime for the killing of Giacomo Matteotti, Giuseppe Donati sought exile first in Paris and later in Malta, where he worked as a teacher at Saint Edward’s College. Due to his poor living conditions in France, his health failed him only one year after beginning his teaching career as he died on the 16th of August 1931. |
