Abstract: | The years 2008 and 2009 have been quite eventful and rich in experience. During these two years the Institute of Health Care made the important move from the inadequate building that had originally housed the old School of Nurses at St. Luke's Hospital and settled in the new purpose-built premises at Mater Dei Hospital near the Medical School and the Library. The Institute of Health Care now operates on a single floor with offices for the administrative and academic members of the staff that facilitates easier communication between the various departments. The new premises at Mater Dei also have fully functioning laboratories for the various divisions and are equipped with the latest technologies and facilities for the students' practical sessions. |
