Abstract: | Child health in its widest dimensions is determined by the child, his environment and the society in which he lives. Paediatricians have always maintained a focus on optimising health and preventing problems and this concept is exploited to its fullest for the child in the comm.unity where service provisions are both for the child who falls ill and for the well child. |
