Abstract: | Exploration and experimentation of twentieth-century compositional techniques will be presented in my compositions; particularly focusing on atonality, serialism, as well as minimalism. These works will also involve the use of, such as the Theremin, modular synthesizer plug-ins on the DAW, as well as the use of sampling. These works will be inspired by musicians mentioned such as Ducks!, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Stockhausen, as well as electronic music movements such as Musique Concrète and Elektronische Musik. |
