E-learning : suggestions for enriching Geography teaching and learning experience

Abstract

Study attempts to establish the current local situation as regards E-learning (taken in its broadest sense) as established through the sampling of students, teachers and co-ordinating staff. The research will try to establish the extent to which E-learning can be classified as an 'enjoyable' and an 'effective' learning medium for both students and teachers. Perception about E-leaning; constraints in its adoption; and methodology applied will also be investigated. Proposals and suggestions will be put forward for the improved use of E-learning with the aim of offering a deeper, stimulating and worthwhile learning experience of geography.
