dc.description.abstractThe aim of this dissertation is to research the risks and challenges, found within the iGaming sector which offers the possibility for criminals to launder their illicit funds through such vulnerabilities, and thus convert such funds into legitimate ones. In addition to that, the purpose of this research is also to recognise the importance of the regulations, procedures, and continuous training which shall be taken by the iGaming companies, so as to avoid being a victim of a money laundering attempts. Various recommendations obtained through the interview conducted, and desk-based research are also endorsed with this study, aimed at refining the procedures and efficiency of the iGaming operations.en_GB
