| Abstract: | A brief history on how P. Felicjan Grech founded a children's home in Zabbar to take care of children who were orphaned during World War Two. Lourdes Home in Gozo was founded by a charitable woman who took in any orphans, and ended up building a large institution to house the children. Nowadays, both institutions are run by the Dominican sisters who take great care of the children. |
