Abstract: Zarb Adami investigates the lives of French poet Fernand Gregh and his son Francois-Didier who share Maltese ancestry. His main focus, however, is Fernand, who traversed the world, made acquaintances and inherited a love for cultural knowledge of humankind. The author states that such exposure to foreign cultures greatly facilitated his poetry.
