Cryptocurrencies specifically Bitcoin need to be observed from their origins and followed until they boomed in today’s market. This is a vital element in order for one to completely understand and think outside the box on this matter. Research will be conducted on the ways that cryptocurrencies evolved over time. This was achieved by continuous enhancements and attempts to resolve imperfections throughout the years. A more detailed and contrasting objective of this study will be that of setting side by side the Bitcoin with other cryptocurrencies, this is done by presenting an overview of the types of cryptocurrencies available on the market. It is a known fact that the bitcoin cryptocurrency started off and still is a place where the black market functions. This is discussed in further detail with the helping hand of an expert in this field. On a final note a solid base to all the discussions and arguments and turmoil which was created from the Bitcoin spike in price in the end of 2017 and start of 2018 will be analysed through the answers of several interviews with local brokers and other analysts.en_GB
