| Abstract: | This article deals with amateur football in the 1920s and early 1930s in Malta, or, according to the author, the 'Great amateur Era of Maltese Football'. The author portrays three football players : Joe Griffiths, who spent his entire career with the Amateurs and became a coach, and Dr Maurice DeCesare and Eddie Cole, players and then members of the MFA Council. |
