Abstract: Medical Jurisdiction of Forensic Medicine may be defined as the application of medical and paramedical sciences to the purposes of the law, both civil and criminal, and the administration of justice. The emergence of Medical Jurisprudence, as a separate scientific entity, depends upon the existence of a legal system and a body of Medical knowledge. Its history and development can only be traced from a stage of civilization when records became available. The earliest records take us back only about five thousand years.
