| Abstract: | The scope of this thesis is to examine some medico-legal issues in Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. A number of cases have arisen in Malta, and a solution found by the application of existing legislation. However, in common with other countries, a number of issues in areas where there have been scientific advances have yet to be tested in the courts. Suggestions for amendments of existing legislation and even enactments of new laws are dismissed. |
