Abstract: Skin grafting is one of the basic procedures of plastic surgery. Skin grafting is the removal of healthy skin from an area of the body (donor site) and the transplantation to another area (recipient area) where the skin has been damaged. The most commonly used donor sites are the buttocks, the thigh, and the forearm.
