| Abstract: | Formerly referred to as ping-pong, Table Tennis was introduced into Malta after the first Great War and quickly took on. This first enthusiasm for the game was however of short duration, no doubt this was due to the ease with which beginners could master the skills with little practice and without any recourse to text-books which also explains how quickly the game became popular. |
