2020 vision or optical illusion?

Abstract

The author of this publication Juanito Camilleri Rector, University of Malta comes to the end of the term as Rector (2006-2011). This report captures his mood, his personal thoughts, and the state-of-play at the University of Malta in the context of the evolving national milieu. Professor Camilleri states that identity is not merely drawn from deeds of the past, and sovereignty is not merely gained, it must be sustained. Both our identity and our sovereignty depend on our actions today and on our vision for the future.
