Abstract: This toolkit is published by the Islands and Small States Institute of the University of Malta as part of its work carried out as WHO Collaborating Centre on Health Systems and Policies in Small States. Under the coordination of Dr. Natasha Azzopardi Muscat, the WHO Collaborating carry out activities that support the development of frameworks and policies for strengthening the resilience of health systems in small state. The aim of this toolkit is to illustrate the epidemiological theory underlying the conduction of health surveys in small states or regions.
