Abstract: | Reginald G. Miller, the son of Henry and Annetta Magri, was born at Sliema on 15 November 1898. He started his schooling at the Scuola Preparatoria al Licea, Billion' private school, then at the Lyceum. He passed the matriculation examination at the age of sixteen, winning the second prize of £10, and entered the university. His parents wanted him to become a lawyer so he started reading Literature, then compulsory in the qualifications requested from Law Students. Reggie was highly intelligent but, as he wrote in his autobiography, his "great passions then were music, sports and military pagentry" which he considered as part of his family environment. |
