Abstract: | Professor Francis Camps wound up the symposium on Forensic Toxicology held at the Chemical Defence Establishment, more than 10 years ago in 1972. Speaking on the future of forensic toxicology he said "This is easy: at the moment it has none". He made the proviso that Forensic Toxicology will have a future only if the basic knowledge of Physiology, Anatomy and Pharmacology is used to interpret the results of examination of autopsy specimens for drugs and poisons. |
