| Abstract: | In the matter of wines, there has been notable progress in the production and marketing of the local product since my last contribution to the Malta Year Book. The story of local wine production is, as a matter of fact, both absorbing and interesting and shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that, given proper cooperation between Government and local enterprise, it is possible to achieve positive results within a relatively short time. |
