dc.description.abstract | The focus of this dissertation is to show that aged Philosophical moral theories can still be applied to moral questions brought about in this modern world. In this dissertation one will find a close study of the process of In-Vitro Fertilisation, its risks and some moral issues caused by IVF. The main ethical issue that is important in this essay is that of Embryo Experimentation, where one will find further research about what it is and why it is used. Furthermore, one will find an in-depth analysis of Immanuel Kant’s Moral Law and the Utilitarian moral ethics, where these two theories are critically studied and written about. Moreover, one will also find these moral theories being applied to the moral questions raised by IVF and Embryo Experimentation, Kantianism and Utilitarianism are here applied to todays issues with such topics. | en_GB |
