dc.description.abstract | Through the side door of the main entrance hall on the right, there is the circular ecliptic staircase. It is like a gradual continuous arch with small balustrades . . . railings overlooking deep down the basement. The steps are shallow, very wide and laid with marble. Every landing on the right is a built-in window balcony, looking over the grounds. The ceiling has an infinite number of stones in chequered shapes which make it a leading feature . | en_GB |
