Abstract: A poster presentation on responding to urinary tract infections during pregnancy in community pharmacy. Introduction: Presentation of complaints of urinary tract infections (UTIs) during pregnancy is the least managed condition by Maltese community pharmacists with a high percentage of first-time referrals when compared to the management of dyspepsia, headache and vaginal candidiasis. Aims: - To review and update previously locally developed protocols on the management of UTIs during pregnancy, - to disseminate a practical version of the protocol amongst community pharmacies in Malta and Gozo.
