Abstract: A poster presentation regarding the evaluation of a molecular database of drugs used to target the endocrine system. Introduction: Computerized molecular models can be used within an education setting to foster critical thinking skills and sharpen visual acuity of students. The development of the proposed database can thus be employed as an educational resource to refine the visual and verbal skills in chemistry and improve the conceptual understanding of endocrinology in students. Aims: • To construct a searchable repository of drugs used to treat endocrine disorders in 2D and 3D structure; • To assess the impact of this database on performance scores of undergraduate pharmacy students when used as an educational tool; • To evaluate pharmacy student perception of this resource.
